Over 100 years of monumental service!

Johnson Monument was founded in 1922 by Emil Johnson.  The business moved into the building shown at left at 10 W. Columbia Street in Chippewa Falls in 1927.  Research suggests the business stayed in that same location until 1962, at which time we moved into a newly built, 12,000 square foot facility on Prairie View Road.  Multiple additions and out buildings have been constructed since than as well as a complete remodel of the office area in 2020 and a $350,000 upgrade of the production facility in 2022.  Our tradition of designing and carving beautiful memorials for families throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota is still thriving after more than a century.

Today, our Chippewa Falls location offers the largest monument display in northwest Wisconsin, ensuring you will find something that suits your design preference and budget. While cemetery memorials are still our primary focus, our product offerings have grown to include commemorative bronze plaques, engraved pavers, commercial signage, park benches and veterans memorials.  We continue to carve all the memorials we sell in our own production facility so that we can offer you the highest level of quality control.  Our sales and service teams will be your single point of contact throughout the memorial selection process, coordinating everything from ordering the granite to scheduling the delivery with your cemetery.  Most importantly, our family is committed to serving your family with the compassion and expertise you deserve.
